Is CoreVitals evidence-based?

Absolutely, CoreVitals is built entirely on evidence-based medicine. All biomarkers we test are selected based on strong clinical research and UK-relevant health guidelines. Our panels are designed in collaboration with experienced clinicians to ensure we’re providing meaningful, actionable insights that support proactive health management.

Is CoreVitals available outside the UK or in Europe?

We currently operate only within the UK.

Is this just a full blood count?

No - CoreVitals goes far beyond a full blood count. Most routine tests like a full blood count (FBC) only check a few basic markers like red and white blood cells and platelets.

CoreVitals is designed for deep, proactive health screening. It covers 100+ biomarkers across key health areas through two tests - including heart health, hormones, liver and kidney function, cancer markers, vitamin and mineral levels, thyroid health, inflammation, and more.

It works as a two-step process:

A comprehensive first test to give you a full health snapshot and identify potential risks.
A targeted second test six months later to track progress and focus on markers that need ongoing attention.

It’s a structured approach to long-term health optimisation - something a routine FBC doesn’t offer.

What do you test for that you can’t get done annually at the doctors for free?

A typical NHS checkup includes around 20–30 blood markers covering basics like full blood count, liver and kidney function, cholesterol, thyroid, and blood sugar. With symptoms or risk factors, that might stretch to 40–50, but even then, not all at once or routinely.

At CoreVitals, we go deeper. Our two-part testing approach - a comprehensive baseline followed by a second round focused on key areas - covers 100+ biomarkers across hormone balance, metabolic health, inflammation, nutrient levels, immune function, and early risk markers (like CA-125 and PSA when appropriate).

Plus, you get access to our app, where you can view your results anytime and track your health insights over time.

Can Children use CoreVitals?

No. CoreVitals works with Inuvi Diagnostics for blood analysis, and their guidelines state they cannot routinely accept samples from anyone under 18 years old.

As a result, CoreVitals’ services are not available to individuals under 18.

Are there any risks?

Blood draws carry minimal risk. You may experience slight bruising or mild discomfort, but this is uncommon. All samples are collected by trained professionals at approved pharmacy locations. If you are concerned about any potential risks, it’s always best to check with your GP.

Why is the testing done every 6 months?

We follow a 6-month testing cadence to help you stay proactive about your health. The first test is a comprehensive baseline, and the second - done six months later - is a focused follow-up that tracks progress on key biomarkers. Together, the two tests cover over 100 biomarkers in total, giving you a well-rounded view without unnecessary repetition.

This cadence helps you monitor what matters most, catch changes early, and make informed decisions. It also creates a trend analysis over time, showing whether your biomarkers are improving, stable, or need attention.

Do I need to stop taking my medications before the test?

Do I need to fast before the test?

Yes, we recommend fasting for 8–10 hours before your appointment to get accurate readings for markers like blood sugar, cholesterol, and insulin. It’s also important to stay well-hydrated. Once you’ve booked your test, we’ll send over everything you need to know to prepare.

Can lab tests have errors?

While highly accurate, no laboratory test is completely immune to variability. Factors such as biological variation, sample handling, and analytical limitations can occasionally affect results. That said, we partner with UKAS-accredited laboratories that adhere to rigorous quality control protocols, including internal and external proficiency testing, to ensure the highest possible standard of accuracy and reliability.

When will I get access after joining the waitlist?

We’re releasing CoreVitals in batches every Friday to ensure a smooth experience for each user -from testing to results. You’ll be notified via email as soon as it’s your turn. In the meantime, keep an eye on your inbox and follow us on social media for ways to move up the waitlist.

Will I get a digital copy of my results?

Yes, your results will be available on our app that you can access any time.

Is CoreVitals covered by insurance?

CoreVitals isn’t universally covered by insurance, but some plans - especially those with discretionary wellness or proactive health allowances - may reimburse part or all of the cost. We recommend speaking directly with your insurer to check if your annual CoreVitals membership qualifies for coverage.

What is included in the kit from Inuvi?

Blood collection tubes and bottles
Prepaid envelopes for sending samples back to the laboratory
Laboratory Request Form – must be completed with details such as name, date of birth, sample date/time, gender, requestor information, and relevant clinical notes
Clear protective case for the filled and capped collection tube

Kits are usually dispatched within 1 working day via 1st Class Royal Mail (aiming for next-day delivery). While 98% of samples arrive at the laboratory within 3 days using tracked 24 postal kits, transit times may vary. You’ll be notified if your parcel fails to deliver.

How do I schedule a lab test?

Once you’ve completed your membership payment, you’ll receive an email with a link to book your blood test at one of our partner pharmacies, at a time that suits you. After your initial onboarding, all future testing will be prompted and managed directly through the CoreVitals app.

Who reviews my results?

Once your samples are sent to our partner labs, your results are carefully reviewed by our team of expert doctors and nutritionists. They analyse your biomarkers to provide personalised insights and recommendations tailored just for you. You’ll be able to view all your results conveniently in the CoreVitals app.
